Introduction

I am an eighteen year old A level student from Ipswich and I am inviting everyone who is brimming with a liberal sensibility but is frustrated with the left wing neo socialists who fester in the teeming pool of ignorance present in our society to join this blog.

I am a supporter of the Liberal Democrats and cite Charles Kennedy, Lloyd George and Winston Churchill as my political heroes. Like many I am outraged by the lies and deceit of many politicians but I feel that that it is cultural suicide to accept disillusionment especially at a time of year when we are celebrating the staggering bravery and sacrifices of those who have given their precious lives to enable us to exist in a liberal democracy.

In this blog I hope to provoke lively political debate amongst people of my age and hopefully older. However as well as politics there are many other fassets I am interested in and would also like to see discussion on -

these include:

• the role of Science in our lives and in the future
• science fiction literature
• every branch of films from independant arthouse to chomping blockbusters
• the Harry Potter world
• cricket and football
• plus anything else you can suggest that interests you

So please if any of this sparks a desire for discussion follow and participate in this blog whether it be on one subject or all of them. We all have a voice, we just need someone to listen.
